Gilles, as I've thought about this for a couple of days, I've come to love.

Susannah, thanks for the link to Joe Chemo. It should be required viewing - VERY good example of how to make learning content engaging, not a drag.

This opens my mind to a whole new kind of contributor to bring into this new future: charmers, entertainers.

I forgot, in the original post, to put a link to a video interview with Ben Sawyer, co-founder of the serious games initiative.

Here it is:

For a game that is both a great game and a powerful health tool (sadly, still a rare combination), check out Re-mission from HopeLab, designed for teens and young adults with cancer. "An epic battle rages deep in the realms of the human body."

You can find both the game and the community at www.re-mission.net.

To pick up the ludique baton, here's my pick for an engaging site:
The Body Explained

And a favorite game (no, really):
Somebody: Human Anatomy

What else is out there for kids & adults?

Gilles, I love this post!
As a pediatrician, I couldn't agree more.

Raising a generation of Health Participants will create a force that would never accept things that today's patients consider normal.
